Wanted a detective story/thriller for a change but this was poor, although the author is quite acclaimed.
A real old fashioned ‘who dunit?’ featuring a man (the murderee) married to 3 different women, so we start with at least 3 suspects. The detective is a young female. Unsurprisingly, it was one of the 3 wives who killed him, and although the book was fast paced and quite readable it was also quite trivial, without a lot of subtly in the unwinding of the plot.
