539. Alastair Sawday - Travelling Light

I asked for this for my birthday, and try to avoid writing about books I haven’t finished, but sometimes life is just too short.

He talked well on the radio about ‘travelling light’ and we stayed years ago in a wonderful Normandy B&B recommended in one of his books, but he is not really that interesting as a person, and this is more episodic autobiography than a book with very much to say.

So I don’t think I will finish it.
