172. Fyodor Dostoyevsky - The Idiot

This was a challenge; I can’t say I enjoyed it at all.

Seemed to be very unstructured and unfocussed; I couldn’t work up any enthusiasm for the central figure; there was a huge cast of (I found) pretty uninteresting characters. There was virtually no plot.

So I am not a fan. Good to tick off one of the new year challenges I suppose.
