This is good but difficult. I read a lot of it thinking this is really a book to take on holiday and not to try to read during a busy working week.

There are a lot of characters; a large dinner party is planned near the beginning which gives you a cast list, but this is slightly misleading as some of them are peripheral to the plot.

The main characters are John Veals—a hedge fund manager who precipitates a huge global banking collapse—and Hassan—a would-be Islamic terrorist who bottles out at the last minute.

But that is just a summary; it needs another read.
